UFC 100 will be July 11 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. MMA is still not legal in New York, let alone sanctioned. If Liddell and Silva win their upcoming fights, against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Thales Leites, respectfully, it could occur, but I doubt it. For what it’s worth, White insists he hasn’t begun to work on matchmaking for that show yet.

I respect Chuck and am a big fan. He is one of the guys who made me a fan of the sport. I believe he will get by Shogun and also believe that he is still very relevant in his division as a contender but I hope they dont put him against Silva. Silva is far quicker and with his tendency to throw crisp straight punches I think he would pick Liddell apart. Im glad they are going to be in Vegas for UFC 100. Its kind of nice to see them go back to the city that made them huge as a sport. Im sure the fight card will be incredible too!

White books fights where Liddell is the likely winner; this would be the first time in recent memory where Liddell's chances of victory are lesser, and in this case significantly lesser, than that of his opponent. I just don't believe it.
The only way Anderson Silva fights again at 205 at 100 is if the man who he believes should be the champion, Machida, loses Saturday, which is unlikely, and with his rumored retirement slowly approaching the only fight he should have at that weight class is Rashad Evans.

I would love to see Silva fight Rashad! And that does seem like the only relevant fight for Silva at 205. For such a dominant champ the only fight he should get in another division should be for a title. That being said, I would like to see Rampage fight Rashad before anything. Hopefully we will get a couple of title fights at UFC 100.
