Yeah, what's the deal with all the injuries as of yet, I know this sort of thing happens in MMA, but it seems to be happening at an all time high. I was looking forward to the rematch myself, but Condit vs Kampmann will be awesome too. I have been waiting to see Condit in the UFC. Time to see what he's made of.

Very sorry for Brock Larson, but I'm glad Condit is finally going to the UFC, insteadof being caught up in the "we don't want to mix organizations bs. I was shocked he was thrown around like a ragdoll by Maeda, but hopefully some time at AZCS will pay some dividends.
Carlos "finishes fights", 23 wins, and 23 finishes. Hopefully he continues the trend. I really hope his wrestling has improved because just about all the WW's in the UFC have a wrestling base.
I think he's the real deal and will at least challenge for the title in the future, but he needs a little fine-tuning. Will probably hit a few rough patches depending upon Joe Silva's matchmaking, but shouldn't be long before he makes his mark.
I would be surprised if it turned out to be Martin as I think he's a guy they would like to build up at WW, but stylistically it's a great matchup. Probably a fight where you get to see a little bit of everything from both fighters. Too close to call.

Great news!! Except for the Larson injury.
Condits first fights should definately be either Kampmann or Davis!!
Both fights would be awesome

Having him debut at ufn 18 would be perfect, that card is in need of one good fight, it has a bunch of pretty good ones but condit would give them name power.

Condit is a Welterweight. J-Lau is a Lightweight.
Guess this means the WEC title is vacant.

Finally. He's deserved to be in the big show for a long, long time.
UFC should move Larson up too when he recovers from the injury. He's not a top-tier welterweight, but he can pose some threats to the middle-level UFC welterweights. Ready-made for Fight Nights.
I'm not interested in the WEC's welterweights much anymore. I wouldn't even mind seeing it follow the fate of the LHW and MW divisions.

Weekly is now reporting that Larson is NOT injured. The fight was simply cancelled because Condit wanted to move to UFC. Expect Larson to make the jump too.
