The CSAC has released the disclosed fighter payouts from last night's Affliction 2 event. The total disclosed payouts were $3,308,000 with the lion's share-$1,500,000-going to main event loser Andrei Arlovski. That figure does not include a bonus going to Fedor, rumored to be over $1 million. Affliction claimed a live gate of 13,228 paid, but that has not been confirmed by the CSAC.

I'm quite sure that he's getting more than what's reported.

What Fedor reports( i. e. pays taxes on) here and what he receives from affliction back in Russia are completely different things. Fedor made over 2 mil to fight Sylvia , but that was not what was reported.

Tom Atencio is like Richard Pryor in Brewster's Millions, its like he is trying to throw away money.

There is just no business sense involved with someone paying Buentello 90k, Lindland and Belfort almost a half a mil together, etc, etc. If not for the Fedor fight this card would get about 10,00 PPV buys and maybe 5000 tickets sold. Its a complete waste of money to spend millions on an undercard like this. No chance there's more than 1 more Affliction show after this.

Rumour is at least $1million on top of what's been reported

There is no way Affliction will last the way the money is thrown at the fighters. If the rumors are true about Arlovski going to boxing full time now, besides Barnett, there won't be a fight worth Fedors time. I hope Brock wins his fight against Mir and Dana brings over Fedor. I don't care if he signs a 1 fight deal. Give him a million and a half or whatever he wants. The way the UFC is making money, they can afford to dip into the free agent waters and spend big atleast one time

I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

My guess is that it is a percentage of the ppv's go to his management. Probably isn't as much as they were expecting.

Affliction spends too much on their fighters and not enough on their commentary team.
The fights were pretty good....I couldn't stomach much else.
The commentary and interviewers were some of the worst I have ever seen.
Who in god's name was the clown with Chuck Zito???? What an annoying human being....not that Zito is any good.
Even Tito stunk. Tito mentioned His Patrick Cote fight as UFC 28....um Tito...it was UFC 50. Tito fumbled his words and said ignorant things all night.
The guy can't even get his own fights straight.
Like I said good fights....almost unwatchable commentary though.
Instead of attacking the UFC....maybe their rival promotions need to WATCH THE UFC.....take a few pointers guys...swallow your pride and learn how to run a MMA promotion.

I thought the production of the first event was much better.
The fights were good, (Vitor is back!!!!),I personaly thought the commentary was a little better than most are giving it credit for(Still thought it was poor),but it wasn't anything to right home about. I would have preffered Jay Glazier and Frank Trigg.

Chuck Zito and the other guy should be abolished from ever being at another MMA event so long as they live. That was the worst part of it all.Thank god that was not the play by play and color commentators.I would have muted the TV.Not that it mattered much though.
Everyone at my house was too busy screaming and shouting to really pay any attention to Tito and the other 2 guys.

I remember reading a long time ago that foreign fighters get whacked for 40% off the top by the IRS. I'm sure M-1 pays him in Russia.

K-1 did the same for the Japanese fighters in the US

This is to true. I guess they figure if they have a bunch of ex UFC fighter it makes it as good as a UFC.

I dunno, I'm really enjoying the fights affliction is putting on, and other then 92 I haven't ordered a UFC PPV in a while.
