I think A Silva is the best fighter int the world. But Fedor is doing everything in his power to change my mind. His Ko win over AA after losing most of the first round is amazing. For me top P4P is in the air. too bad Silva fights Leites next...not much of a challenge/gauge of where Silva is in his career. Fedor needs to come to the UFC and fight Anderson @ 205. That would be mind boggling.

Prior to this fight I had my doubts. I'm sold on Fedor now.

When you here that russian music start up and the lights dim,you know death is coming.
Silva is amazing and imo,is number 2 P4P. We've seen Silva lose decisevly though, the same is not same of Fedor yet.

Yeah but we aren't talking about the past we are talking about now. I think both of these guys have shown they are at the top, but who has the most impressive and most recent streak?

Well if you go off of "recent streaks" then it would have to be AS. He has demolished everyone while Fedor's last three are what....Hong Man Choi, Tim Sylvia and now AA ( damn your glass chin).
If your going all time it is Fedor
If your asking presently.....its AS.
If Fedor demolishes Barnett then I would probably change my opinion.

Here's the thing i've always said. For a long time now the number one P4P has been debated. But Fedors name has been their longer than anyone elses. For a while some people had Couture their as a possible number one against Fedor. Then Liddell, along with the likes of Nogueira. Then Crocop and AA were debated a while as possibly being P4P the best,or high up on the list.People even claimed Fedor was ducking CC for a while. Now we have GSP and Anderson on the list along with Fedor. The one constant name though on the P4P list though is Fedor. Will Anderson continue to be as dominant? Will no one knows, but it will be interesting to see.I think it's very close between them.
As for the most impressive,I think it's a toss up to some degree. Anderson is a monster, but he's a natural HW (or LHW?)cutting to middleweight. Fedor is a small heavyweight, impressivly fighting guys bigger than him. If Fedor gets through Barnett like he has his last 2,then I think he surpasses Anderson for sure.As for now it's close though, but I still slightly give it to Fedor, based on the fact his name has been their for so long.

I never thought other wise. I did put Anderson ahead due to inactivity but Fedor is #4# the best.

no, Silva, GSP , BJ and Rashad are in front of him.
So Fedor # 5 at best.
GSP will take the # 1 spot in 1 week !!

I agree with mr. smiley.. There's been alot of great fighters that people thought were the best *Liddell, Randy etc* but faded overtime.. While Fedor has always been up there for many years without being KOd, tapped out, or losing any decision.. I'm not sayin he's the best we'll ever see but for this moment and time, i cant help but put him at the top of my P4P list

why should fedor have to cut to 205 to fight anderson
they are the same weight anderson cuts to fight at middle weight fedor has never cut and is nearly always fighting guys that are bigger then him.
230
ok so fedor is #1 P4P
fedor and a silva should fight at there natural weight, thats only fair, a silva may be i little lighter when he actually in the ring but hes still above 205

Weight cutting is a part of the sport and Fedor has never cut weight so we really have no clue how he would do cutting down to 185 or 205 which I'm not sure he could make 185. I would really like to see him fight at 205 because I feel that weight class is far more stacked than the HW division ever will be.
