Sometimes a fight goes under the radar during the hyping period that often precursors large MMA events. For this Saturday’s Affliction show, "Day of Reckoning," that fight could very well be the light-heavyweight mach-up between Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Vladimir “The Janitor” Matyushenko.

While both fighters are widely regarded as Top 10 talent, the unassuming nature of each man makes for a fight that could easily exceed expectations.

I've been really looking forward to this fight. It seems like their whole generation of MMA heroes have been getting smoked as they grow older. At least this will be a fight where one guy we all came up watching beats another, not defeat by getting outworked by some young guy with ridiculous wrestling.

i want lil nog to win but matyushenko is a tough ass dude. i don't really see any lhw outside the ufc beating him. not even 2 of my favorite fighters babalu and nog.
neither fighter has fought top competition for a while so the start of this fight should be very interesting.

Me too. I was hoping the UFC would pick him up again after the IFL fell apart.
