Mirko 'CroCop' Filopovic is heavily tipped to be making a return to the UFC when the organisation stages its first German show later this year.

Fighters Only has been told that the Croatian is being offered several opponents, with Mark Coleman and Tito Ortiz among them.

I have to say I'm shocked this rumour proved true. It was reported a few days ago at Sherdog but it was at the end of the article and almost appeared like an afterthought, so it appeared to have little validity.

Another fighter turns down a fight with Lyoto? Too bad because that would have been an awesome fight.

I think literally dozens of fighters will have turned downed fights with Machida, but we only get to find out about a select few.

I think both Tito and Coleman would have a shot at winning if they could take him down and utilize elbows the way Gabriel did.....

I would stillprobably go with Mirko in both fights...but I am kind of hesitant picking him anymore..

I have been told there is very little chance of him being remotely ready for this, and his current plans involve K-1, with a slight possibility to returning to the UFC at some point in the future. This is just rumored because he is the man in europe.

that makes sense.

I think CC kills Coleman and has his hands full with Tito, but eventually explodes his huge head.

That would really surprise me if Cro Cop came back, since his price tag like it would be too high for what he can offer the UFC. Tito coming back wouldn't surprise me in the least, and almost seems inevitable.

Thats because people actually want to fight not chase a guy around for 15 minutes.

It is common knowledge that Mirko and Dana have been talking about a return to the UFC in 2009 and Cro Cop is a massive star in Europe, so what makes this rumour so crazy exactly.....
