the lw's are the hardest to rank you can argue for days about the order from #2-#15.

1) penn
2) sherk
3) aoki
4) hansen
5) JZ
6) alvarez
7) florian
8) kawajiri
9) kitaoka
10) josh thomson

thats my list, but it certainly is highly debatable, a guy like eiji, or ishida, or even tyson griffin could very well be on there too. the division is just stacked.

Not trying to be mean, but I think that we've discussed in the past that rankings are always subjective and that nobody really cares about another's rankings.

Again, not trying to be mean or bash, just pointing out something that has been mentioned a million times.

I like this list, except I would move hansen down a couple of spots.

The OP's list is definitely missing JZ and Hellboy, but like others have said- LW is hard to figure out because virtually anybody in the top 20 could move to the top 5 within a fight or two. Sucks the JZ vs. Hellboy fight got called off because that would have cleared up some of that mess. Well, maybe a little bit anyway.

You've got guys like Stevenson and Franca who could move right back into a top 10 discussion with solid showings. I know some people will resent that, but we've already seen it happen several times over the years. Gleison Tibau, Frankie Edgar, Gray Maynard, and even Roger Huerta are guys that have been in top 10 discussions before, too.

I agree that all the names listed so far are better than most the ones I have mentioned, but still.. people have placed the latter names into top 10's before. So in the end its all subjective, and I'd say your list is pretty solid minus the JZ and Hellboy picks
