i think Aoki would tear it up at FW and i think he could make that cut without too much of a problem either. his only problem will be Kid Yamamoto, but i just want to see him fight.

In Aoki's previous interview he said he'd fight in the welterweight GP. No way that guy is making 145, no one believed he'd ever make 155.

i think he can make the 145 mark. it doesn't look like he has much to lose, but Japanese fighters tend not to cut as much weight as American fighters, and if Aoki dedicates himself he can make 145 imo.

Aoki was listed as 5'11'' for ADCC. I can't see him making 145. He looks pretty trim at 155. If he can do it, I hope he's in opposite brackets from Kid.

I personally cant wait for this tournement, too bad they couldent get some WEC 45ers to participate, like Curran, Pulver, Garcia etc. Also I think I would probly glue my shorts to my leg if i got to see Aoki vs Yamamoto.

he *might* be able to hit 145 but he's not getting down to 138 which is what the dream fw tourney will be held at

Don't forget that he was Shooto's 167lbs champion for a while. That's why I think he's going up and not down and someone screwed a translation somewhere.

Aoki will have to drop a unhealthy amount of weight to make it in.

LOL. You're sick, but I agree.

That's a helluva list even without Aoki.

And I'm thinking that they're talking about the interview where Aoki said that he wants in the welterweight GP. No way he's making 45 or 38.

My money would be on either Bao Quach as an upset pick, and obviously Kid as the favorite.
