Dan Henderson (23-7) believes he is a more well-rounded fighter than Rich Franklin (24-3-1) and intends to prove as much when they meet in the Octagon next week.
“I want to dominate him striking, in the clinch, taking him down, ground and pound... I want to dominate him everywhere, that is my goal,” says the former Pride FC double-champion.

rich is as tough as they come in mma. i don't think hendo will dominate but i do think he will be able to pull out a win. in my mind.... this is one of the biggest fights in mma history. hopefully it goes down as one of the best.

I feel like a lot of people are brushing this off as a bs, non-title fight card. Even though there is no title fight and they're fighting at 205, this is still one of the greatest matchups in MMA history. Way too close to be certain about anything in this fight. Henderson poses a huge threat to any opponent and Franklin has made a career of beating guys like Hendo. I can't wait for this fight. It's a shame it's only three rounds.

I'm pretty Hendo is as a matter of fact not as well rounded as rich, but that may not matter due to his superior wrestling. Tough fight for me to call, I want Rich to win...but he has to avoid a big strike or it's over.

Hendo's Chin has its own legend, Rich won't have a chance if he cant keep Dan off him though. Hendo TKO 2nd. Superior wrestling and a great GnP. Not to mention Dans BJJ isn't shabby at all.

My favorite fighter is fighting, i'm excited. As a giant Hendo fan, i'm looking forward to this, it's going to be a great fight.
I THINK Hendo is the type of fighter that will give Rich trouble, he's strong, he's got good submission defense (see last fight), he's got a chin, he's got better wrestling.
WAR HENDO.

i can see wut u saying bout wrestling and GnP. but BJJ? Hendo has been subbed numerous times, and Rich has never been in a dangerous spot on the ground b4. His TDD is yet to be seen, but his JJ defense is among the best.
when hendo is on his back, he gives up pretty easy.

Hendo has the potential to hold a lot of belts in the UFC. But he always seems to fight at the level of his opponents, even in Pride. It's always a grittiy fight and awesome to watch, but it doesn't matter who he is fighting it seems to be a war. I think he is better then alot of his opponents he has lost to, he just comes down to there level. I don't know if this made any sense, but that is how I feel.
