Boy stops pit bull attack with jujitsu choke hold
A 9-year-old Bakersfield boy is being called a hero after he saved a girl and her dog from a pit bull attack.
Drew Heredia said he and a friend were walking a small dog Dec. 30 when a pit bull jumped on the dog. The unidentified 12-year-old girl reportedly tried to save her dog, prompting the pit bull to turn on her.
Full article I say, give that boy tickets to the next UFC event and he has a bright future ahead of him!

Too bad Hughes didn't know this kid, he could have learned a thing or two about choking out a Pitbull before taking that last fight.

The kid is lucky the dog didn't just tear his throat out. Usually attempts at being a hero like this one end badly.

Your going to tell me a Pit Bull is killing your sister and because IYO, attempts at being a hero end badly, you would just let it go? I give this kid all the credit in the word and don't think that it ever once crossed his mind that he may or may not be a hero.

I don't think that's what he's saying at all. I think he's 100% correct...situations like this usually DON'T end well. The boy is lucky.

That's pretty awesome.
On a side note...I keep getting distracted by how much this kid resembles Forrest Gump as a youngster. Someone buy this kid a Dr. Pepper already.

Seriously man, that's exactly what makes a hero... forgoiong your own saftey for that of another... Sometimes things go bad, and some people step up... It might be a mother of 3 or a 9 y/o kid... Don't matter... Sure hope you don't walk past any burning buildings with babies in them or anything

I would have never thought about using jiujitsu on a dog.........I prolly would have kicked the dog in the balls. I saw my uncle kick a pitbull in the mouth.....You better believe that dog ran away. And my uncle was wearing steel-toes.
PROPS to the kid, cus that dog prolly weigh more than him.

Get that kid in the Octagon ASAP!
A fight with Houston Alexander would be a nice win on his debut
