Having not fought since his decision win over the late Evan Tanner last year, it now appears that TUF 3 winner Kendall Grove will return to action at UFC 96 and face Jason Day.

good prelim match-up.

Kendall looked good against Evan, and finally seemed to learn how to use his massive reach advantage to his favor.

but Day packs some power in his punches and I wouldnt be suprised at all if he got a KO in this one..

tough call....

i don't know who to take because both guys have been inconsistent in the ufc. they both looked great against alan belcher and haven't looked good since. gotta go with day though, he has fought the tougher guys and has a couple of better wins to his record, but grove is a tough matchup with his lank.

Day has some power in his hands, I see him putting a couple shots on Grove's paper chin and finishinfg the night early.

Many feel the same way as you. I on the other hand do not. Grove is 4-2 in the UFC, and has beaten some tough guys like Alan Belcher(by a sick Brabo Choke), Ed Herman, and Evan Tanner. He lost two in a row, but that's not uncommon in the UFC, and he won his last fight.

He actually looked really good last time out, especially in the clinch. I think he has a ton of talent and his frame is built for MMA. I know a lot of people don't like his attitude and neither do I--but I enjoy watching him fight and I think he's exciting.

you kinda stole my thunder. I'm gonna go with Jason Day too.... He beat Louiseau submitted Marcus Hicks and KO'd Belcher. Grove beats Tanner and Belcher as well. Funny thing is Both guys got Knocked Out by COTE!!!! LOL

Should make for a good match up. Grove looked good against Tanner. Day isn't afraid to bang and has heavy hands. Could be a short night if he can find Kendalls chin.

That would be a fun fight to watch. I think Day would win.
