Coming off the heels of his spirited title challenge against WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit at WEC 35 this past August, Hiromitsu Miura is finally set to return to action at WEC 38 on January 25 in San Diego, California against newcomer Edgar Garcia.

Garcia was signed to the WEC after accumulating a 6-0 record while competing on the Arizona MMA scene. His most recent victory took place at Total Combat 30 in August, where he recorded a first round TKO over Waylon Kennell. All but one of Garcia’s victories have been first round finishes.

EDIT: Anthony Njokuani vs. Ed Ratcliff, and Frank Gomez vs. Scott Jorgensen have also been added to the card.

miura was absolutly robbed by the ref that night, it should have been stopped when condit was getting blasted repeatedly in the 3rd, but when condit hits a small knee in the 4th round and does a tiny bit of gnp its stopped??? little bias if you ask me, but glad to see him back, i think that showed condit is not worthy of a top 10 spot just yet

also awesome to see radcliff back

Ratcliff has a tough fight in this one, Njokuwani is a good fighter...I saw him on some little card like a year or so ago, and he knocked some dude the "F" out with like a 3 punch combo and landed 2 more as the guy was falling...he has quick powerful hands...but then he kinda dissapeared or something...

that one should be exciting on the feet!

Anthony Njokuani vs Ratcliff is a very interesting Fight, Njokuani is a Good Kickboxer with sub par Grappling, Ratcliff should eat him alive, probably via Submission, Armbar most likely
