Wow, that's a huge step up in comp. for Rosholt. I could easily see Sakara taking this one, in Rosholt's last fight he was beaten BAD on the feet by an unkown and Sakara has some power in his punches.

I thought they would give Jake a much easier opponent. At this point in time Jake essentially needs to hold a guy down for three rounds, because his GnP and submission game are missing elements to his arsenal.
Alessio will get ragdolled in the opening round, but the moment Rosholt begins to gas, or leaves a little opening; Sakara will open it up and put Jake away.

I like Rosholt, but I think he'll have a tough time in this fight. This'll be a difficult one to pick, but not if Rosholt goes in as the big favorite. If nobody is taking Sakara, then I'll definitely jump on the chance to get 2 bonus points.

i think Rosholt is going to get KO'd in the first in this fight. he's a great wrestler but he was beaten badly on his feet in his last fight. Sakara was a professional boxer so he's going to be throwing the most technical and most powerful punches Rosholt has ever went up against. Rosholt has a ton of potential but he needs a TON of work on his stand up.

I think rosholt wins this fight. He is going to be bigger stronger and a better wrestler. As we saw in his last fight he can take a punch. Rosholts stand up will most likely be improved when this fight comes and he will take the fight to the ground and pound out Sakara for a tko win.

Yes Rosholt can take a punch, but now he's facing a more technical, powerful striker whol will not gas as quickly, and he will not allow Jake to recover or have anytime to breathe. I think Jake can be very good, but this is too much, too quick, his standup will not be improved enough in time to prevent himself from ebing knocked out. Alessio by KO.

Rosholt isn't ready for a striker of Sakara's caliber. He's going down in the second.

Standing Sakara gets the ko. His hands are to fast and crisp for Rosholt at this point. He was getting picked apart by a much lesser striker then Sakara in his last fight.
On the ground Jake will have the wrestling advantage. But if he starts getting wild with ground and pound he will end up armbarred.
WAR SAKARA!!!!!

But your telling me when Jake gets hit by Alessio, jake isnt going to instanstly go for and get the takedown. I mean I know sakara is a better striker but jake I think could take the punch and then get the takedown.

Meh, Im not too impressed by Alessio at all in his 4-4 stint in the UFC, all he can do is stand and bang and he loses that half the time
Jake is a guy who can hold you down for 3 rounds all he needs is to work on his bjj defense, cardio and standup, and Alessio is a guy who probably cant stop that, unless hes improved his wrestling or TD this is an easy decision for Jake.
Alessio would have likely lost against James Lee quickly if not for the back injury.

Sakara record in thre UFC isn't impresive but don't takt this guy lightly. He will knock your head off. rosholt is looking to the wrong guy if he thinks Sakara will lay down for him as a stepping stone. To me it's a toss up but I will probably go with a Sakara 2nd rnd TKO.

Lister submitted Sakara with relative ease and was able to control the fight, Rosholt is as good of a grappler in my opinion, Rosholt can take a punch and that will probably be the X-factor here, Sakara has a bit of a glass jaw and not much ground skills.
Rosholt TKO

Pretty sure Rosholt takes this one. Sucks for Sakara too, getting beat by a reletivly unknown fighter is grounds for release, especially with his record. If I were Sakara I wouldn't take fights against unknown fighters. Only known fighters so win or lose he looks better.
Lose/Lose situation for Sakara.
