UFC light heavyweight Eric Scafer (10-3-2 MMA 2-2 UFC), hoping to build off a recent submission victory over Houston Alexander, will next meet Antonio Mendes (15-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) at UFC 93.
Schafer announced the fight during a guest appearance at the Dec. 14 Gladiator Cage Fighting event in Milwaukee, Wisc.
UFC 93 takes place Jan. 17 at The 02 in Dublin, Ireland, and airs live on pay per view.

easier pick than mendes vs gusmao, mendes looks promising so does eric but me thinks mendes is just better

Mendes is pretty tough. I think he will beat Schafer fairly easily.

This should be a good fight.Mendes is a tough guy with grreat kicks. he almost took out Thiago Silva with a brutal head kick and it was fully blocked. I see Shaffer sucking mat.
