And in the latest round of trash talk between the eternal rivals, Alistair Overeem again is calling out Mirko Cro Cop ahead of their planned New Years' Eve rematch in Japan. Overeem claims Cro Cop hasn't yet signed on for the rematch despite CC issuing the chellenge for it, but Overeem says he won't use knee strikes to the body so CC can't "wimp out again".

Allister needs to get his head checked with all this trash talk. Saying that, i really hope its just getting Mirko pissed and he beats the shit out of overeem like he did to wandy.

Alistair is pissed Mirko took an easy way out so of course he is going to trash him . I would too and all the people that are waiting for the old CroCop to return I think are in for a sad realization that he's not. GG took it all away and all he's had are excuses since then sad but true. I hope I'm wrong but I think Overeem destroys him again.

Unfortunately  I would like nothing more than for Cro Cop to rise like the Phoenix to new head kicking heights....but being the realist that I am I just don't see it happening. Cro Cop's quickly heading into retirement, along with a couple other greats.

Not to mention that his testicles ascended into his abdomen. Not exactly sure how long his testes were up there, but it's still dangerous because it can cause fertility problems and even cancer.

Alistair knows how to sell a fight, so you can't be too angry about the trashtalk. It's all a part of the game, and Overseem just so happens to be really good at it. Which is why the UFC should be all over this guy. A HW with personality.
I don't think Mirko will ever be the fighter he once was. Somewhere along the lines he lost his confidence, and when that happens to a fighter they almost never seem to get it back.
I think Overseem will dominate Mirko by taking him to the mat again and unleashing some GnP. I'm just going with my gut here, but I think if Alistair beats Mirko convincingly, we may be saying goodbye to a legend.
