Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson has a hankering to try boxing, he told host Dan Le Batard on Sports Talk 790 The Ticket Wednesday.
“I’m thinking about boxing as well,” said the Internet legend turned MMA fighter. “Boxing is wide open right now. I want to do it all.”
Ferguson’s revelation didn’t come with any news of a fight on the horizon, though he said he’d like to return to MMA competition by February.
The interview marked Ferguson’s first since his lackluster 14-second TKO loss at the hands of last-minute replacement Seth Petruzelli on Oct. 4. link

I actually think Kimbo would fare pretty well in boxing. He's a little old though.

I looked up Kendall Gill on boxrec and the combined record of his opponents is 3-12. None of them had any wins when they fought Gill. So if the goal for Kimbo is to beat complete nobodies then I guess he can "hang". But there is no way he will beat anyone good in boxing ever.
He is better off in mma where he can get freakshow matchups that he can win and still get a lot of publicity. I don't see any big matchups for him in boxing that he wouldn't lose in the first round.

I duno he is a HW, it's not like that div is anywhere near stacked. He could come in land a lucky punch on Klitchsko and be the champ of the world.

Klitchsko would destroy Kimbo. It would be a beating.

I don't see it. It's a lot harder to knock a guy out with a boxing glove on than with an MMA glove or a bare fist and I really don't see Kimbo out techniqueing a real boxer. Maybe he can be a celebrity boxer. It's about time somebody brutally beat Danny Bonaduce.

He is just following the Shaw family where ever they go. They fixed some MMA fights here, and now they can fix some boxing fights there.
