Lightweight prospect Manny Gamburyan is returning to action at the UFC's Super Bowl weekend card, UFC 94, on Jan. 31 in Las Vegas. Gamburyan confirmed the fight to MMAWeekly.com on Sunday.
Though bout agreements have not been signed, he says he has agreed to face Brazilian Thiago Tavares. Tavares’ American representatives were unavailable for comment.

they aren't taking it easy on manny that's for sure. i think tavares eventually finds a limb and subs him. because we all know manny's strategy will be to lay on top of him.

Oh yeah, lay on him...He hasn't had an official fight in the UFC go the distance. Manny's got short/big arms that are hard to get a hold of, if anyone finds a limb it'll be Manny grabbing a leglock.

we saw on the ultimate fighter he likes to lay and pray, even if he has been to decision twice in his career he won't finish a good figher like thiago tavares. tavares takes this one, if not by arm bar then he locks in a triangle choke. pretty much what i'm saying is lay and pray is his best strategy for a win.

I think he should drop weight and enter the WEC at 145lbs.....he can lose the weight and do really well there IMO. Manny is one of the few who can say that they are small for a LW!!! LOL!!!

tavares could prolly catch manny in a guillotine when manny is trying for the takedown or if manny gets the takedown I think tavares could get the triangle.
