Don't quit. Suck it up and do your part.

It's something that you'll look back on when you're older and regret if you do quit. Life is all about memories bro. It's just one more story to tell the grandkids.

Playing football is awsome, and yeah its fun, and its even better when you win but jeez 41 to 7 were the laughing stock of Tennessee though.

Itll make it all the more sweeter when you pick up a win though. My school soccer team was the same, in my second last year we litterally won one game, then in my final year all the egos dropped out becouse they thought they where to good for the team, and we started getting together and training in our spare time. Ended up getting to the semi final of the regional cup that year, although we still sucked in the league (won more than one game though lol)

Just stick with it if you enjoy playing.

if it's not fun anymore, there is no point in playing

having said that, if u COMMITted to the season w/ ur teammates, u should finish out ur committment. its respectful to ur peers & shows character

If you enjoy playin then dont quit. I regret not bein able to play football or wrestle a couple of years ago in school. my grades were bad and kept me from playing and wrestling. But dont give up.

It's not worth it. u already know my opinion, if your gonna stick it out til the rivalry game against cchs quit after that if we lose. but i think u should quit now, you'll be able to have fun for the rest of the year. Dont join back next year if they dont fire coach davis, he sucks.

looks better for college if you don't quit. this same thing happened to my soccer team, but everyone stayed solely based on the fact that it would look bad on a transcript to just quit.

the real question is, for my football team's last game, should i run onto the field in my green man costume?

I'd keep playing. Our football team was dreadful we never tasted a victory when I played football in HS, but it was still fun. Yea it sucked getting shutout week after week, but looking back im glad I stuck with it.

i used to be on a varsity team for 3 years and i think we won 7 games out of 60 or 70, and we got pissed after every loss, but then we just had fun with it after that breif moment of disapointment. so really what iam sayin is that it's not about winning, but rather enjoying the game.

i meant application, idk why i said transcript. you send colleges an activity sheet to make you more than just your transcript, and if you show a pattern of quitting you are a less appealing candidate for their school. on the other hand, if you stick with it, it shows commitment which colleges love.

No. You will never get another chance in your life to play the game you love on the same level. If you do you will regret it forever. It's no fun to lose. But it's better to lose than not play at all.

... If you do quit. You should occupy yourself with a spelling class.
