damn, is no one gonna say three 6 mafia?
what about geto boys? (at least bushwick bill)
EDIT: my brother and uncle both rap and i honestly think they're better than most rappers out there today
I like some of the Geto Boys' records. Scarface and Willie D are decent emcees. Big Mike, another group member who appeared on some of their records had his moments, too.
There has been a rumor about a Nas, Ice Cube and Scarface project that could come out next year.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Soulja Boy!!! (insert sarcasm). I saw Atmosphere on Jimmy Kimmel the other day, the dude has good lyrics. Also, Too Short rapped about gettin' money and hoes before rappin' about that kinda stuff was cool.

I was tryin to stay away from the obvious and spread some love to some newer artists who I think are doin it right.
Ali is far from an average MC in my opinion. Joe Budden and Saigon are both beasts but I'll keep LB and you can have Mega and Jae Millz back.
I was pretty baked when I wrote that too and I was just frustrated with the whole way the thread was goin and I had to weigh in.
I hope you don't throw me in with the internet heads regulatin shit. It's not the case at all. I have an open mind when it comes to music, but for me personally, seeing people with top ten list like
Lil Wayne Game Crooked I Jim Jones Techn9ne Lloyd Banks Flo Rida Rick Ross TI Papoose
is just like an MMA fan seein a top ten list like
Chris Leben Diego Sanchez Kimbo Slice Brock Lesnar Kalib Starnes ....well, you get the point
I hear you... Hip-Hop needs a good M.O.P. record right about now with nothing but banger after banger. I think something like a Black Star reunion album would be huge right now. I hope the Andre 3000 record coming out lives up to the hype.
I guess seeing Flo Rida on a top ten list is like seeing Little Brother on one... they both suck to me, just from different sides of the game.

My favorite rappers are Killer Mike, Bun B, and Papoose
Papoose- "Alphabetical Slaughter" is one of the greatest/genius songs ever written. If you haven't heard it, you will be amazed.
Killer Mike- "Yeah" is a great song to get pumped up to, I think it was on a Madden game.
Bun B- "Re-Akshon Remix" is a fast pace song ft. T.I. and Killer Mike

Best rappers alive? The only good rapper is a dead rapper... just kidding, just kidding. Don't get your little pink panties in a twist. This is simple... Cee-Lo.
Edit: I really don't like rap or rappers.

Zack de la rocha - Singer from Rage Against the machine, I know hes not considered a rapper but he should be. To me he was an emcee in a rock band. Lyrically nobody at the time was singing what he was singing about. The dude has amazing lyrics
