Cyrille Diabate has turned down an offer from EliteXC to fight Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante on November 8 to determine the first EliteXC Light Heavyweight Champion. According to EXC's Jeremy Lappen, Diabate felt he wouldn't have enough time to prepare for the fight. Now it's not known if Feijao's fight on 11/8 will be for the title.

Actually, according to Lappen he probably will. He's considered a top contender for the title and might still get the figh tif they can't find another guy to face Feijao next month.
