UFC veteran and TUF 3 cast member, Kalib Starnes will be stepping back into the MMA ring on November 15 where he will be fighting the Icon Middleweight Champion, Kala “Kolohe” Hose in Hawaii on the Destiny MMA organization’s main event.
Starnes’ last fight in the UFC was back in April of this year when he fought Nate Quarry at UFC 83 in one of the most “interesting” fights in MMA history. Starnes’ technique and gameplan frustrated Quarry to the point he started coming at Starnes with one arm outstretched and one hand covering his face in a mocking gesture. Quarry was able to pull off a unanimous decision despite the unorthodox styles shown by both fighters.
Starnes’ opponent on November 15th will be the pride of Hawaii, Kala Hose, whose most notable win was against Phil Baroni back in March in an Icon Sport Middleweight Title fight where he TKO’d the New York Badass early in the fifth round and won the vacant title. Hose’s most recent fight was in August where he defended his Icon belt against Rolando Dominique in a second round TKO victory.

Hopefully both these guys stretch properly before the fight because if you don't stretch before you run you will get cramps and get sore quickly.

well, I'm not fond of either, but I think, due to what's left of his potential, Kalib Starnes will win, UD most likely.

Kalib shoulden't be scrutinized, he was just paying homage to a Canadian hero...Terry Fox.

This is an excellent venue for Starnes to return to fighting and get his mojo working. Why? He's going to be on an island surrounded by water - he can only back-pedal so far and then he'll have to stop and fight.

i'd like to see any of you step in the cage a fight. starnes shouldn't be knocked for one boring fight. the guy is a tough dude and a damn good mixed martial artist who should've kept his mouth shut after his last fight.
