The pre-trial hearing for Quinton Jackson that was scheduled for today has been postponed. A preliminary examination scheduled for November 30 also has been postponed. No reason was given for the postponement.

As the trial date is still scheduled before the fight; it doesn't mean much. It would actually probably be better if it was pushed up or pushed back into January.
If he were to go on probation typically the probation office usually doesn't allow people to leave the state barring extreme circumstances like a funeral. It calls into question if Jackson will be able to continue training at Wolfslair. There could be special circumstances because his career arguably nessecitates frequent travel and I assume his lawyer would argue that point when it comes to his conditions of probation. Maybe he'll have to just make frequent calls regarding his status. It seems unlikely though because it's not like the probation office could work hand and hand with a probation office in England.

Today means probably nothing, but the preliminary investigation being postponed means the fight probably will still be on. The latter's delay is because Rampage will be in England preparing for the fight.

I interned at a probation and parole office, and no, they usually don't let people leave the state. However, if it's work related, which it would be in this case, they may make an exception. He'll have to clear it with the office first, they fill out a couple of forms, and BAM, he can go as long as he periodically checks in with the office by calling. That's if he is put on probation, which I believe he will.
