overeems having a breakthrough year this year and is really on a roll, I would LOVE to see him in the ufc, I dont think he has the wrestling to be a championship level fighter but his striking is excellent and he has solid jiu-jitsu, he'd pose a lot of problems for many of the top fighters.
Overeem vs lesnar would be a really fun fight for me! Im a lesnar fan but I think overeem would be too much for lesnar at this point despite the wrestling gap

Really?.........Really? That is a massive weight advantage that Overeem has no chance in hell of countering, and I'm an Overeem fan.

If so, i doubt he would be allowed to sign for another US based org.

No he was released from his contract with the UFC ala Big Tim. He's free to sign with any org and as of right now does not have a paper contract with any company.
