Petruzelli has many years in the game and some kickboxing experience as well, didn't surprise me one bit to see him beat Kimbo like that.
They'll probably rematch and Petruzelli will end it with a kick to the dome next time... Seth has some lethal kicks.

The worst part of it was for me anyway, was that they had a 205 pounder move up a weight class to fight their HW poster boy, and he go knocked out.

I'm still trying to understand the "Greatest Victory In The History Of MMA" comment, that was ridiculous.
I thought he said most Incredible

I expect to get flamed for this but.......Seth hit Kimbo so hard on the back of the head that the ref almost stopped the fight right there. Seth is a LHW and will most likely not be rematching Kimbo, the EXC brass still want the Kimbo v Shamrock fight and so does Ken. Kimbo will still put Ken to sleep in the first and they will give Kimbo a "mulligan" is the word used by Mauro. Seth however will soon be the the LHW guy and will probably fight either Babalu, or Tito if he does ever sign!

I have the fight PVR"D and there is some guy dressed up in the backround behind the cage yelling at the ref , did anyone see that? he looked like he was trying to tell the ref to not stop it, then when the ref did he looked so pissed,
I wonder how the athletic commission would think about exc having people on the outside of the cage telling the ref what to do?
ANYONE that can watch it again especially in the replays you can see him, can anyone see who it is??
after looking at it again you can only see him in the replays that show the different angles

I didn't notice myself, but that was apparently one of the Shaws doing that. I heard he also screamed at the ref to halt the fight from the blow to the back of the head.

I was reading up on this on another forum and it seems like the guy is Jared Shaw, and he was trying to tell the ref "illegal blow" and to stop the fight for a warning and then restart it.
Edit- Actually after looking at it closer, it looks like he was screaming "back of the head!"

After wading through the 4 pages of haterade (minus ... like five posts...) Kimbo got caught, im glad people are going to be shook off the bandwagon but i also hope this will get all the "hard-core fans" off Kimbo's back. He has never said he was the best and he has never truly been out and out disrespectful to any fighter (besides fight hyping and defending himself both of which are understandable and expected). Im not a Kimbo nuthugger, and even parlayed Kenny to sub him in the first... but i really get burned up a little bit at the gross disrespect given to Kevin Ferguson... YOU DON'T KNOW HIM, SO STOP HATING

Yep, it was definitely Shaw...he was also cageside for the Thompson fight yelling to stand it up when Thompson had Kimbo in the crucifix.

well gina did kick some ass, specially towards the end of rnd 3, so women fighters frm EXC good. and as for EXC being done becuse of this, no way, They should give kimbo to TITO for his first fight there, how bout that for numbers:0 but seriusly he just got caught by a solid shot
You really thought that was a solid punch? Seth was aginst the cage standing on one foot when hit Kimbo with that punch. I was shocked that he was put down by that shot. Congrats to Seth.
