Wow great fight Im going with Alvarez but I thought for sure I would see the Diaz lovers talking smack but very few backing their boy.

if sean sherk couldn't get diaz to the ground then alvarez won't. diaz has also handled better strikers. i think nick takes a pounding and comes away with a sub, this could be fight of the year.
I completely agree I like your train of thought on this fight. But I think Diaz will lose rd 1 and then wake up and win the fight the way the Diaz bros always do. with that peppering style of punches and off the wall jui jitsu game. Although I wont be surprised if Alvarez wins this one because he is one of the toughest dudes in that division period.
