Wow great fight Im going with Alvarez but I thought for sure I would see the Diaz lovers talking smack but very few backing their boy.

Link in first post fixed, I hate when Weekly changes links like that. Should be a heck of a fight although I'm sure Noons isn't too happy about it...anyone else think he'll be chomping at the bit for a title shot if Alvarez wins?

if sean sherk couldn't get diaz to the ground then alvarez won't. diaz has also handled better strikers. i think nick takes a pounding and comes away with a sub, this could be fight of the year.



I completely agree I like your train of thought on this fight. But I think Diaz will lose rd 1 and then wake up and win the fight the way the Diaz bros always do. with that peppering style of punches and off the wall jui jitsu game. Although I wont be surprised if Alvarez wins this one because he is one of the toughest dudes in that division period.
