Former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin (24-3 MMA, 11-2 UFC) could meet former PRIDE title-holder Dan Henderson (23-7 MMA, 3-2 UFC) at a UFC event tentatively scheduled for Jan. 17 at The 02 in Dublin, Ireland.

UFC 93 is shaping up to be one of the best cards in recent memory. I'm already pumped to see Lyoto vs Thiago so this addition would be just mind-blowing for me. MMA fans have been hoping for this match for a long time.
It's kind of surprising because I thought they were going to have Dan do the next season of TUF. I'm assuming that is no longer the case.
This fight has to happen at 205. Rich was basically forced into the 205 division so to ask him to drop back to 185 would be a lot to ask, plus Rich looked awesome at 205 and I'd like him to stay there. There's a lot more exciting matchups for him at LHW.

That will be a sick fight, I give the edge to hendo juste cause his wresling is better so he will decide where the fight take place. I hope he tries some combos not just the big right.

MMA isn't wrestling. Hendo has proven that fact plenty of times by getting dominated while laying on his back.

I'm very curious to see what weight they'll be fighting at.
Nevertheless, this will be an awesome fight. I've wanted this fight for a few years now. Many thanks to Joe Silva for making this fight. I've got Ace in this unless Hendo can land one of those heavy rights to end this fight. I don't think Hendo's wrestling will make much of a difference in this fight. I see it staying on the feet for most of the fight.
