Shane Carwin will travel to Birmingham, UK to take on Neil Wain at UFC 89: Bisping vs Leben. Carwin is one of the hottest prospects in the Heavyweight division - and the prospect of fighting away from home does not worry him. He told UFC.com:
“It’s gonna be his backyard and I know that the fans are gonna be behind him. I’ve been in college situations before where I walked in and got booed, so that’ll probably be nothing any different for me. Sometimes that makes you a little bit more hyped up.”

I've never heard of Neil Wain, but he's listed at 5'10. This is going to look like UFC 8 David vs Goliath. I'd be confident to. Really looking forward to another 2 minute smashing session from Shane.

I think Carwin runs away with this.

I actually think this is the right way to build up a guy who comes into the UFC and has a first big win. You just need to double check him against another guy with the same experience level before you put him into contention. Otherwise you really might be throwing him to the wolves. However I say that if Shane does deliver a solid smashing to his opponent then the UFC should set him up against someone who is better known.

Shane Carwin is a beast. I can't wait until he proves himself against weaker competition, which is the correct plan by the ufc. He will compete for the title someday. Looking at his record alone, he clearly has dominated everyone, with zero decisions. A fight I would LOVE in the future is Carwin v Cain. That would be great. As for now, Carwin dominates wain.
Carwin, sub, round 1

He was a talented NFL prospect Nate Marquardt has said he has one of the best GnP at HW 3 time All American wrestler and 2 time All American football player Back injury prevented him from joining the NFL Division II National Champion wrestler Purple belt in BJJ under Nate Marquardt He has 8 total minutes of professional fighting experience since he neds all of his fights rather quickly Randy Couture is using him as a tool to train for Lesnar
does that help?

You are a fool.
You actually think it will take 2 minutes?
But yea, Wain is a brawler and Im expecting Carwin to take him down, and finish him early.
