I dont know how many of you guys are follwing this years K1 GP, but so far it has been excellent and it looks to be the one of the best in years!
Semmy Schilt's reign of dominance came to an end as Peter Aerts bested him to a split decision win to move on. (I predicted Aerts would beat him this time around )
Also featured was Current HW champ Badr Hari Vs Hong Man Choi, In which saw Hari and HMC battle it out, which went to a draw and an extra round was to decide the fight, but Hong man Choi decided to throw in the towel.
Remy Bonjasky also moved on by beating slowinski, and Ewerton Texeira alo went through by beating Musashi.
Next round:
Bracket A
QF1 - Aerts vs. Hari QF2 - Zimmerman vs. Teixeira
Bracket B
QF3 - Saki vs. Karaev QF4 - Bonjasky vs. JLB
That's pretty sick for Aerts. Hari is the best non-Aerts fighter in the tournament and Zimmerman , although beatable, is a wreckingball and capable of doing alot of damage. Aerts will have to put Hari away in the first round if the wants to take the whole thing.
You can watch all the fights here LINK

I think LeBanner has a real good shot at taking it this year.

If Aerts loses to Hari I will take Remy, I think he will be able to beat up JLB's legs and slow the train early and take advantage of the chin late. I think if JLB gets past Remy then I'll take him to win his first WGP. I don't think Hari can beat Aerts though.
Edit: I will also predict this will be the most watched final in years, with actual intrigue of who will win it will make for a much more fan friendly final.
Second Edit: What the heck has happend to Sefo, he dropped like a rock.

Holy shit... go Aerts!
I'm hoping JLB gets it done. I really like JLB's style but he's got a tough road ahead of him.

The winner of Remy vs. Jarome is going to be overall champ. I hope Jarome wins it all, but he always chokes in the finals. K-1 should be part of our picks.

I agree K-1 should be part of the picks. Different style but very entertaining.

its hard not to cheer for aerts, remy, or JLB, all these guys are legends in the sport and its tough to pick a winner, but now that schilt is gone my heart says JLB.
