Alan is one of the guys I wanted to fight because I thought it would be a good matchup. I thought it would be fun to stand and fight with him. I knew he would fight me…I would like a rematch with Belcher right away if I could, but we'll see what happens," stated UFC middleweight Ed Herman as he talked about his strong desire for a rematch with Alan Belcher. Check out what he had to say about their fight, his performance and much more

he's not going to get it, they never give immediate rematches, unless the division is weak like aa vs. sylvia or if it's ridiculously controversial like bruno vs. johnson. i think herman got screwed big time, but he won't get the immediate rematch.

i picked belcher but i thought herman won. Honestly though neither guy looked impressive at all, and I do not want to see that rematch unless they put it on the undercard.

No need for a rematch.

The ever-underperforming Herman will just add another loss to his record.

I thought the fight was pretty intertaining. Both guys were definetally evenly matched. A rematch would be fun to watch. Theres no way I think it will happen quickly or for that matter at all for awhile. For some reason the UFC likes Belcher alot the keep trying to build him up. But, every time they do he stumbles and loses.

I thought it was a good fight again fairly even.. I thought Herman had a bit more points with some better takedowns.. Belcher might have had a very slight edge in the stand up.. I do not think the judges took the takedown into play.. but all in all nothing to really complain about... I'd like to see a rematch... maybe on another fight night...

I think Ed should just accept it. The fight was close, and could have gone either way. I think Ed should just move on. I think he's more frustrated that he can't seem to string together a series of wins. Honestly, I think he would do better in another org. I don't think the UFC is the place for him right now and I haven't seen him improve really all that much to think things will change for him in the next year or so.

It was a close fight, and i think they would have gave it to Herman if he was able to score any points after the takedowns, but Belcher was to elude any damage after being taken down, and he had the better stand up so i think thats why they gave it to Belcher......As for a rematch i dont think he deserves a rematch....If he was more active in the first fight he could came out with the victory....

I agree with almost everything that everyone has mentioned. I honestly think that Ed should switch camps and maybe think about going to a solid striking camp. He can always fall back on his wrestling but his footwork is terrible and we all saw Belcher moving circles around him. Kendall Grove also used his jab to just dominate Herman. Maybe Ed should move to Xtreme Couture or something. He has close ties with Randy.

Belcher did just enough to win it imo.

What i meant was, Herman is so unpredictable he'll probably get KTFO in a rematch

Herman's crying a lot. It could've gone either way, he was not robbed. Maybe he needs to face the fact that he's just not on the elite level.
