Who takes it? We haven't seen Maia's chin tested yet so this is the guy to do it. I want to see what you guys think...

maia. he's the future of the division. quarry is good, but his jitz is no where near maia's. If it hits the ground...he's toast.

Yeah, I think this fight really boils down to how much takedown defense Quarry is going to utilize because his chances are pretty much slim to none when the fight hits the ground but if he can keep it standing, he might just get a knockout...

Quarry, I think he's cooler and just because Maia outclassed MacDonald on the feet doesn't mean he's a good striker.

I feel the same way, I would love to see his chin tested with a good, solid shot. I think this will end up on the ground, and Maia will prevail.

Yeh but at the same time maias stand up and wrestling arent as good as quarrys. I really dont think Maias going to beable to get the takedown on nate, so im picking quarry with a round 1 or 2 tko.

I am a big fan of maia, but Quarry is a big task for him at this point in his career. Quarryhas good TK defence, and powerful striking. I'll be picking Quarry for these reasons, but im gonna be cheering for Maia.
although make no mistake, Maia has a BIG chance of pulling the win, although he doesnt have wrestling as good as Nate's, he will defenately be looking to pull guard if he cant get him to the ground, and I can see Maia sweeping or subbing Nate off his back.very close fight.

I think alot of people are forgetting that Maia has no problem just pulling guard if he cannot secure the TD.
And he actually has some decent takedowns, look at the Herman fight. When he gets ahold of someone he DOES NOT let go, if he cant put you on your back he will go to his back.
I think Quarry has the stand up advantage but i don't think he will be able to keep it there.
So Maia by Sub Rd 2 or 3 without reviewing past fights.

I think Quarry will win by KO or TKO, but I wouldn't be surprised if he submitted Maia.
