Following the the announcement by EliteXC's Head of Fighter Operations Jeremy Lappen that the organization would be stripping KJ Noons of the Lightweight Championship, I was able to send a few messages back and forth with Kj Noons for his thoughts on being stripped of the title.

please, they were threatening him with this like a month ago. He might not have realized that it officially happened, but he was definitely informed that it was going to happen, and still made no attempt to arrange the fight.

well I wrote champ intentionally to be ironic. people call people "champ" as a way to be condescending, and he was stripped of his title, so it was a layered joke.
