I definitely want to fight Anderson. I don't know when I'm going to get that chance, but until then, I would like to fight Dan Henderson and Michael Bisping and anybody else out there that's a contender," stated UFC middleweight contender Nate Marquardt as he talked about his future plans.

Nate Marquardt is one of my favorite fighters. In a non biased decision I think he would beat both Hendo and Bisping decisively. lol

I think Nate takes Hendo in a decision. I think both guys are too tough for the other to finish off, unless Hendo catches Nate with an overhand right. But I don't think Nate would leave himself open for it, so Nate UD.

I agree about Bisping but i think its a competetive fight with Hendo and whoever shows up to bang is going to get the Decision. I don't see Nate putting Hendo away but there have been stranger things

i think nate is a great fighter, and even the anderson beat him before and most likely would again, i still think he has a better chance than most at being the guy that dethrones him....great combination of wrestling and ju jitsu which is whats needed to beat the spida (other than a serra-st pierre type ko).....with that being said tho, i think hendo takes him....i still think hendo has the best chance of anybody beating silva (not saying it would happen tho)...but i think the ground game of nate doesnt do anything against hendo and nate could outstrike him but i think eventually hendo lands that one punch on the nates suspect chin and takes control or ends the fight...i do want to see that fight tho....i think against bisping if the fight happend today, that nate takes a decision win....bisping obvisouly is hard as hell to stop, and nates great tools arent great enough to be the first to do it....would love to see that fight too

I cant really decide. I don't think this will happen because one of the two IMO will coach the americans for TUF 9. These happen to be my 2 favorite MW's Right now I give the edge to Marquardt because he has been so dominant lately (even when he man handled Leites then lost to the judges). So Marquardt UD but I hope they each get another shot at silva or, I know its a long shot, fight eachother for the title.

Marquardt has a great chin WTF?!

A fight with Hendo makes sense to me. The winner of that fight would be in line for a crack at Silva.... After Okami gets his. Dan is a game opponent, and not a lot of people seem to be giving him a win over Nate. I like Hendo with a 2nd round tko.

Agreed, Nates a huge guy, but Hendo does very well against big guys, like Nog, Rampage, ect. I think Dan would beat him with a huge over hand right after stuffing a take down.

Hendo only losses to the best guys is Nate their yet.......I don't think so. I would not be suprised if Dan lost but my money would be on Dan. Dan by right hand in the mid second.

I think alot of people are going to look at Dan's last fight and Nate's last fight and jump to conclusions about Dan being old and Nate being on a tear.

Dan didn't look as impressive as Nate in that fight but that's because Dan couldn't use his greco to win the fight.
When you take away a fighters bread and butter and he still wins the fight decisively like Dan did your gonna be hard pressed to find a fighter that will match him.

Henderson would beat Nate pretty soundly imo. He can take him down and beat him there or if Nate wants to try his hand at the stand up game more than likely he'll be eating the canvass.

I really like Nate but Henderson is just the kind of fighter that you really can't go against imo because more often then not he's gonna win his fight.

I would like to arrange an avatar bet for this fight as well if anyone wants to take nate. I think nate is probably #3 in the division with rich at 205, I would still pick hendo over anyone except anderson. I have a great idea for an avatar.

On another note, I love Nate's attitude. It seriously impresses me when a guy is in line for a title shot, and he's asking for the toughest competition he can possibly get. A fight with Hendo could derail his title run but he's a true warrior who wants to test himself against the best there is. He gets mad respect from me for those comments and he's quickly becoming one of my favourite fighters.

Decision Dan Henderson...those 3 words sum up my thoughts on this fight.

don't get me wrong, i think this would be an exciting match up, i just think Hendo will win by UD. i would really like to see Palhares vs Marquardt somewhere down the road.

Do you mean on the show? Cause Dan and Palhares just fought. Jason Day shouldn't even be spoke in the same Paragraph as Hendo.
