Will this fight end in any other way than a submission? Somehow I doubt it. Aoki will win fairly easy.

I don't think this will be a challenge for Aoki,Moore didn't really impress me in the WEC, and I think Aoki will win by early submission.

While I agree Moore's ground game is not on the same level as Aoki's, and would've preferred a different matchup, his match with Alessio in the WEC was great and he showed a lot of skill.
I recommend finding it on youtube or dailymotion for those that haven't watched it.

At first I asked myself...Todd who? Then I recalled he was in WEC for a couple matches, in which he lost both. He had a good fight against John Allessio.
Aoki should walk right through Todd. It's the classic Japan mismatch. Doesn't Shinya want to test himself? I don't get what this fight does to bolster his career outside of putting some money in his pocket.

Todd Moore is on a 2 fight losing streak. He is known to have some problems with good grapplers
Shinya should be embarrassed that DREAM offered him such a gimme fight, and even more embarrassed he accepted.
Imagine Josh Haynes fought Dan Hendo.
Well its the same story here.

Aoki loses respect from myself for taking this fight and gets knocked off my top ten also. He really needs to step up. Sorry if you feel insulted by this JJfreak

you can't blame Aoki for this. what was he supposed to do? he isn't KJ Noons where he can just turn down fights. what do you think about Werdum then? or how about Gomi? you can't lose respect for Aoki just because he accepted the fight...it just doesn't make any sense. i never heard of someone losing rank just because the took a fight

agreed with JJ freak, plus i'm guessing it was very last minute, as dream wants to put on a big show to keep their tv deal -- and shinya is a big draw in japan.

Taken totally outta context
Im not saying Aoki lost rank or anything, but If I was him, a former Top 10 LW, I would've been pissed that they offered me a nobody. Im not putting the entire blame on Aoki, but Its his job to accept and decline fights.
He has PLENTY of competition in the LW division including Alvarez which will probably fight Hansen. And Aoki could've asked to fight Ishida, Kawajiri, Amongst many more.
All im sayin is, win or lose he has NOTHING to gain, so why accept the fight
BTW, I dont even consider Werdum a Top 5 HW, and Gomi is Top 5 LW, but I have recently been rethinking his rank. Gomi is fighting NOBODYS and getting recognition for it, and I think its rediculous. Werdum is fighting Great competition, but at the moment there is nobody in the HW division for him to fight. Cain, Brock, Nog, Randy, Mir, Kongo, Gonzaga are all taken, so nobody for him to fight, Aoki doesnt have that problem when there isnt even another LW matchup set.

Gomi is not in my top ten for taking or not looking for good fights IMHO and has had enough non title fights to turn me off to him. I think it is agreed what KJ has done thus far out of the cage sucks. And I have Werdum ranked eighth and can get ranked higher if he puts on a solid performance like he did against GG. I like Aoki's style but he really needs to step up the competition. I know this my sound redundant but the USA (UFC,Affliction,Elite XC) might be a good home where he can fight a better tier of light weight fighters.
