The thread campaigning to get Couture on the top 10 list looks like it could knock Yamamoto off the top 10 (he's #9 right now). There's no way that Couture is P4P better than Yamamoto. Yamamoto has a 14-1 record all against guys who are larger than him.

Couture only has a 15-8 record with a 3-2 record against fighters larger than him, with 2 of those wins being 10 years ago.

If enough people think Couture deserves to be on the list, that's fine, but he'd better not knock Yamamoto off the list.

Now this is what im talking about. Yamamoto is as good a wrestler as Couture is (different sizes cmon guys). And for his divison IMO he is the best guy. Randy is far from that. Yamamoto has awesome striking and wrestling that just blows Randy away. Remember Kid fights out of his weight class all the time. He is a 145 guy who fights at 155 cuz its where all the good fighters are.

War KID Yamamoto!
If you dont know who he is, watch THIS .

I am now moving all pound for pound discussions to the MMA lounge. Kid isn't even in UFC/Pride guys. I have him 4th and he's staying there.

He has never beaten any top 10 fighters. So no. It's not always just about the numbers.

He won the K-1 Hero's tourney. He beat Caol Uno who has consistently been in the top 10 for a while, and was fighting for the UFC lightweight title on two occasions, he beat Genki Sudo who was in a lot of people's top 10 at the time. Pequeno was in the tournament and he was top 10.

Not to mention if you watch him fight he is nothing short of devastating.
Horn has somehint like 80-100 wins. Most over cans but that doesnt take away from his cred.
