The big fight that may appeal to a lot of fans is a potential match up with England's Michael “The Count” Bisping, who is headlining UFC 89 against an opponent that MacDonald has already defeated, Chris Leben. “I'd be interested to see the Bisping-Leben fight. Of course I already fought Leben. I'd love the opportunity to step up and take on Michael Bisping. He's getting a lot of hype in the middleweight division these days. Anyone that fights with the guys in the top half of this division that can continue to move my career forward.”

MacDonald Vs. Bisping isn't a match-up i have thought much about but i'd love to see it. i think that MacDonald would beat him. MacDonald has good stand up and a much, much better ground game. i can see MacDonald taking Bisping down and submitting him as early as the first round. Also props to MacDonald for wanting another fight before the year is over.
WAR MACDONALD

I don't think the UFC would make this match.
If Bisping beats Leben (toss up) I think his next fight might be for the title in six months, especially if Okami isn't ready to go.

this would be a good fight but i dont see the ufc making it happen either. jason just has too good a chance of beating bisping who they are more invested in than macdonald. he has been a spoiler before and seems to do really well against everyone but the very top guys, and im just not convinced that bisping is one of those top guys...

I dont like macdonald. I dont know why but I just cant stand the guy. but he is a good fighter. I knew he would beat Lambert. But I thought maia would destroy him but he proved me wrong by puttin up a helluva fight against him but in the end he did lose like I thought he would. I cant stand him but he is an exciting fighter, so I'd like to see him fight again this year. But a fight with bisping is very unlikely. If bisping beats leben, then bisping is in line for a title fight

im not really a fan of macdonald, dont get me wrong the guy is a game fighter and great gatekeeper, but since when do gatekeepers start calling guys out? i appreciate the fact that he wants to fight often, and hes done enough in the ufc to stick around for awhile, but i dont think hes earned the right to start calling contenders out by name at this point.

I wish this guy fought on every card! I just saw him fight in person at UFC 88 and I was so glad he got to fight on that card as a replacement. He is a very game opponent who fights with lots of heart. He is pretty well rounded even though he has an obvious preference to fight on the ground. I cant think of a fight he was in that wasnt entertaining. Even his losses to Franklin, Okami, and Maia were good fights. He is one of those guys who always comes to fight and fight hard.

Tim Credeur?! are you kidding me... Every one of those matchups is a BIG step down for Macdonald.

I like MacDonald, his fights are entertaining and he's always up to fighting whoever. He wants to get his name out there and advance in the division, that's why he can call out Bisping, nothing wrong with that.

a step down? macdonald needs to string wins together and all the other top competition is fighting.
He could fight marquardt but would get beat. Plus I think if macdonald faces higher competition he will prolly just get beat.

I disagree about Kendall being a step down for Mac.
