Affliction vice president Tom Atencio spoke exclusively with MMAWeekly.com to clarify his company’s decision to postpone the event.
“We not canceling it, we’re not postponing it, we’re rescheduling it completely,” he said. “It doesn’t make sense to do it where we wanted to do it, it’s a positive.”
Sources close to the venue had informed MMAWeekly.com that ticket says thus far have been “abysmal.” Atencio conceded that ticket sales for “Day of Reckoning” were weak.

I think they figured out that they needed Fedor and are going to wait for him.
I feel sorry for all of the fighters that were starting training already.
It is going to be hard for these fighters to get their huge pay cheques when the fight is canceled.

....but I just noticed that jjfreak's props meter is blinged out! That's pretty sweet looking! I guess you have to have the meter filled to have that feature enabled.
EDIT: Actually, I just looked at juanez13's as he also has the prop meter filled, but his isn't blinging like his....
Another cool feature.
Commence with the topic at hand....Sorry.

rofl so they're going to do what? one event every 6 months? I get that Fedor is going to be one of their bigger draws, but not having a card for 6 month periods is going to hurt them more than not having Fedor, IMO. People are going to forget all about Affliction and the only people who will remember are the hardcore fans.
I think this is a bad move and not just because I was really looking forward to a lot of those fights.
