Just noticed Lyoto isn't on the UFC 89 card anymore (at least he has been removed fromthe card on the UFC website). Now it looks like Shane Carwin vs Neil Wain is on the main card.

man this is lame. friggin injuries

hopefully they will just push machida/thiago back one event if thiago is healed by then. I think that's the best case scenario at this point.

This is probably a good thing, move him to the december card and have him fight a top name like shogun.

It's just a further kick in the nuts that they're not going to even replace them

it might as well be called a Fight Night now

true, but for me it's quality not quantity

I'd rather see a big name fight rather than a batch of Chris Lytles and the usual UK fighters

I think that machida would fit great on the december card. he'll be fighting the same night as forrest/rashad, so the timeframe for his belt shot would work out perfectly (assuming he wins). Now, if thiago silva cannot be ready by december, shogun, wandy, or rampage would all make for great fights. I'm still hoping for thiago silva because i was so excited for it in oct. So we'll see what they end up setting up, but it sounds like it'll be great no matter who gets who.

rumor has it he is gonna face shogun in dec
if he wins he fights winner of evans vs griffin fight
now if he loses and wandy wins i think wandy will get a title shot

atleast it gives the ppv viewers a chance to see some undercard fights since carwin probably won't go to a decision like the machida fight would have
