MMAWeekly has obtained the fighter salary information from the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission for UFC 88 featuring Chuck Liddell vs. Rashad Evans, which took place on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Philips Arena in Atlanta.

The following figures are based on the fighter salary information that promoters are required by law to submit to the state athletic commissions, including the winners' bonuses.

Hamill at 10,000? thats pretty low

and Palhares at 7,000?!? thats ridiculous.

even if these two guys aren't as experienced as the higher paid fighters, their salary should take into account that they are fighting contenders. Palhares makes 7K and his opponent makes 250K!!! It doesn't seem fair to have such a difference there. I'm not saying that his paycheck should be in the same ballpark as henderson's, but c'mon.

this happens every time we post up the salaries. both of those fighters are on their first contract so their salary is going to be low until their contract expires and they have to re-negotiate.
