I LOVE it when i see these types of list- Let me say first that "Theres no crying in Base Baaaall" and theres definately no Titty twisting in MMA.
"When I fight Lidell I am going to run. When Rashaaad did what he did its called GAME PLAN".
Not saying I enjoyed the titty twisting, however amidst all his "Dancing" Running" "Shucking and Jiving" It was clear that A. he did not want to be eating any Chuckle sandwiches B. he did not want to shoot in on a guy who "Stops 85% of td attempts C. he did want to make Chucke attack him
All 3-were executed.
this was no Kalib Starnes. Though it seemed or maybe was "Running" theres no Running from the fact that Sugar was sweet and will be in line next for a title shot. (Machida and silva will need to wait their turn.)
Also-Thats a huge list for a guy who just " KOed" one of MMAs greatest LHWs

As much as I may dislike Rashad, I really do have to give him credit for this win. No one saw it happening like this. I know I didn't.
As for a title shot? I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if this fight put him close to the title.

Hats off to Evans he did what he had to do to win. Wasn't very fun to watch but the ko will be on the highlight reels from a long time. As for a title shot......I don't know I think Machida is far better at putting on a boring fight and gettind a win.

I'm not an instant fan. I give him props for executing the better gameplan.
I love how Chuck does the exact same thing all the time and doesn't take flak for it. He's the backpedalling counter punching king (or was). Rashad was smart enuf to force Chuck to come after him and get him out of his comfort zone.
I also love how some are saying being a smarter fighter doesn't make you better. Yes it does. It surely does. Most of fighting is mental. You guys must be like my Kimbo nuthugger friend who wishes it was all like the original UFC w/ guys just swinging wildly and no game plan or skill. Skill will ALWAYS win. Which is why Machida is w/o a doubt the no1 contender and most likely the best LHW in the world. He makes smart gameplans and executes them.
So are fighters now supposed to stand in front of a guy and let themselves get hit whwen they could avoid it? that would be dumb game planning.

I have always liked Rashad and Chuck but in this fight I was pulling for Evans. He did it too. Rock on Rashad.

In Rashad. Fight went exactly how i said it would with the 2nd round knockout. I been a believer from day 1! Now have all you non believers been converted?
Give him a title shot i saY!!! A new champ is in the midst.
I have been a nonbeliever since day 1. The man has 3 split decisions, and 1 majority decision, and 1 draw. The man would be 8-5 without a lot of luck. He is a good fighter, but a champ he will never be.
Why is it every time some tard calls an upset fight, they have to come on the forums gloating, and saying I told you so?

I'm a fan of Chuck but he's low on my list, I give big props for his victory and it shows that the young guys can hang with the vets

Im still not a believer. I think Chuck looked comfortable until rashad dropped that absolute bomb. I still wouldnt pick him to beat anybody else on the top 10 list though. Id even pick chuck to beat him in a rematch.

getting out-pointed and putting the entire match on one haymaker is not a good strategy imo. If he didn't get a knockout he would have lost a clear cut decision and everyone would be talking about what a joke the fight was. Hoping to land one big punch isn't a good strategy. The ends don't justify the means, and 9 times out of 10 I would say he loses using that same strategy.
