so you actually predicted he would just back pedal the whole fight then follow that up with a desperation haymaker?

so wait your not a believer because a figther had a smart strategy? Similar to ooo i dont know o yes Lyoto Machida? Do you doubt Machida as well? Mac goes out there backs up stays away from the fighter until they make a mistake....such as dropping their hands, and then he pounces.

Fighting is all about who has the talent to capitliaze on their opponets mistakes, and weaknesses the best. Last night Shad did exactly that, he stayed away, looked for an opening, and when one presented himself HE KNOCKED OUT A FORMER CHAMP!!! (coming off an impressive victory)

yes, that is smart stratagy and any fighter would do that and know that Rashad would try to stay away from someone with one punch power, to look for an opening, and go after it. Plus i knew Rashad wanted to knock out Chuck so i figured he would do exactly this.

im a fighter, i think as one.

rashad never looked for a mistake. Chuck is the one that closed the distance and got lazy. Rashad got cornered and just threw a haymaker to try and get away from chuck not because he was actually outstriking chuck.

and yes i do doubt machida, just because youre a smart fighter doesnt mean you are a good one

This is the last time I'm going to say this....No one on this site thought what happened last night was going to happen. If you picked Rashad by Tko/KO you thought he was going to take Chuck don and GnP him out. No one thought Rashad was going to stand with him and win. NO ONE. So please stop kidding yourselves people.

I think the real question is what the **** is Chuck doing hes got to learn to keep his hands up this has happend way to many times. And as for Griffin vs Evans i gotta go with Forrest hopefully he can put an end to Rahads run once and for all.

also did you see the look on Danas face after the fight he was pissed i mean as a promoter who would you rather have fight for the title

gsquat, watch the language. I want this debate to be civilized or it'll be locked.

Simple minded fool. As said before, Chuck always has his hands down. It just took your brain this long to realize it. It'll take that long for you to realize Rashad will obliterate Forrest as well, but go ahead and pick wrong again. I don't care.

Fair enough Rashad fought the smarter fight last night but the way that Forrest beat Rampage was more impressive. I see him doing exactly the same to Rashad im guessing Randy Coutures already working on the gameplan

Let me say this again, I HATE RASHAD EVANS! I just can't wait for him to lose! Here is the list of LHW's he would lose to in the UFC alone:

Forrest Griffin
Quentin Jackson
Lyoto Machida
Thiago Silva
Rich Franklin
Matt Hamill
Wanderlei Silva
Keith Jardine
Mauricio Rua (if healthy, maybe even injured)
Rameau Sokoudjou

He's just lucky, and I still think Chuck would beat him if they fought again, but I won't add him to the list.

he ran and chuck doesnt handle being the aggressor well, hed rather be the one backpedaling and catch someone coming in on him. good strategy, and it paid off. as far as chuck keeping his hands up, its kind of hard to do when youre firing your own uppercut, plus im guessing chuck wasnt too worried about rashads power, its not like he has a long history of KOing guys on the feet, especially with one punch. im shocked and disappointed about this, as is most of the mma world. i dont see a reason for someone that picked a big underdog to toot their horn every single time an upset happens though. every time theres a big upset someone that picked it decides to puff their chest out and let everyone on here know about it. good for you, nice call, but do you really need the attention that bad? im not trying to be a jerk, but it gets tiring seeing it every time something like this happens.
EDIT: i just noticed the TS is 16-14. really man? 16-14 and youre starting threads after getting one right, really? this isnt a joke?
