It almost looked like Kampmann thought the kick would miss. Thought it was a little weird that they showed Nate's illegal pile driver in his pre fight clips.

-Dan Henderson vs. Rousimar Palhares
R1 – Palhares drops down to shoot, but eats a Henderson right hand before they scramble back to the feet. Time after time, Henderson defends Palhares’ takedown attempts, and gives him a quick right hand for his attempts. Henderson unloads a flurry on Palhares, who fires back with various kicks, landing a couple to the body. Palhares goes for the takedown, nearly gets it, but Henderson delivers a couple good shots before Palhares moves to side control and then half guard as the round closes.
MMAWeekly.com scores the round 10-9 for Henderson
