I've played it since the beginning. It's fun in its own right but I find it to be a bit too complex (you have to pick exactly how each fighter will win and the finishing minute in each round).

I like it, it is a LOT easier. You get points for everything you get right and a HUGE bonus when you are perfect. I suck here, and am constantly in the top 100 there, and there are A LOT MORE people.

Do it.

i don't know that im really looking for easier. thats like a decent ufc fighter going down to some local shows and shit. yeah they might be the champ but against worse competition. so far it has been almost a split decision. half like it and say its better the other half doesnt like it.

There are twice as many people that play the fantasy game over at ufc.com, but it is definitely easier in the sense that many people from this site, including myself, that are able to place in the top 100 very consistently. I feel that the game here is better, but i usually play both.

The difference is that you not only pick the round but the minute, you pick the type of finish specifically (arm lock, choke, KO, TKO, etc.) You get a big bonus for nailing it perfect. I've placed in the top twenty twice and won some free schwag from the UFC. You also are playing against alot of UFC fans, not MMA fans particularly.

The UFC fantasy league offers cool event prizes per event (an XBOX for UFC 88). Top twenty get a tshirt and an octagon mousepad, and I got the latest KOs DVD that they put out.

The playground is the better site IMO, but I'll take a free shirt for making the exact same picks on the UFC site as I make here.

I feel there is more competition to be consistent on the playground because of the lack of a huge bonus for being perfect. If you call two fights by UD, you get two perfect prediction bonuses.

Example: say Karo and Sherk are on the same card. You know that the fights will probably go to a decision. So you get the bonus twice for predicting the time round method and winner.

Also there is no underdog bonus, and no wagering. Play both, you could win twice off the same picks.

Also, a big difference between the two games is that you need to pick the correct fighter here in order to get any points...at ufc.com, you can pick everything right, but pick the wrong fighter, and still end up getting a decent amount of points.

Your best off just calling a number of decisions, because you're bound to hit one and get a ridiculous amount of points for a perfect score.
