I don't see why they couldn't get someone to replace Karo. It is short notice but I'd bet if he called coaches at a couple top schools they'd have someone ready to fight immediately.

The fight replacing karo/yoshida on ppv is going to be matt brown v stun gun. Ok fight, but def shouldnt have been the one to switch to ppv.
1. carneiro v chohan
2. tavares v pelligrino
3. macdonald v lambert
4. brown v stun gun
5. boetch v patt
i wouldve been happy with any 1,2, or 3. disappointed with the decision, clearly just cuz he was on TUF. hopefully itll be a quick fight (brown gets KTFO) so we can watch one of the others.

Hum Well Karo was at the prefight press conference. I think there a good chance this could be related to his panic attacks and the back issue is most likely a cover by him or his team. But who knows maybe he really did hurt his back.

i can guarantee you that there would have been either 1 or 0 throws in this fight. you don't get an exciting display of judo when you have two skilled judoka against each other because they cancel each other out. you get great judo throws when a judoka faces a wrestler or a kick boxer because they aren't as familiar for judo throw positioning and will most likely walk into a few.

The main card just got pretty weak. I want to see Kim fight again, but this is more of a Fight Night main card addition.
Too bad it's such short notice, I'd like to see Yoshida added to the UFC 89 card maybe with Dustin Hazellet since I haven't heard of him on any cards yet.
