Possibly, according to Chuck Liddell. He was quoted as saying that if Randy Couture emerges from the upcoming "tournament" as still the UFC Heavyweight Champion, Liddell would consider moving up to Heavyweight for a 4th title fight with Couture.

Poor Randy.

Would be cool to see again, but I don't see Randy winning this tournament. We all know, however, that you can't count the man out....EVER!

Not even sure if I'd like to see this one. What makes me believe it'd be different from 2 and 3? Randy cutting weight didn't get him knocked out those two times. I don't believe Randy can win if Chuck isn't taking him lightly. No thanks, I'd rather see Chuck and Mirko... Still.

Pretty sure Nog is going to keep the belt regardless of who wins lesnar/couture. Although Couture is definitely the more dangerous opponent for him.

"Holy Cow Randy just dropped down to lightweight maybe I want a light weight title too" - Chuck Liddell

Just cuz he know's that he's got Randy's number doesn't mean he should follow him around all over the f'n place.

Holy Crap Ken Shamrock beat Kimbo Slice maybe I want the heavyweight title in Elite XC - Tito Ortiz

I have no interest in this fight. Chuck won decisively twice. He's got Randy all figured out, so why go thru the motions again.

Could This Happen: Yes

Do I Want To See This Happen: No

Chuck should fight Brock Lesnar no matter what happens in this tournament. See how good Chucks takedown defense is against Lesnar. I'm not saying that the Iceman would get dominated either.

Somewhere Chuck is hitting a focus mitt working his timing for the eye poke counter. Meanwhile Randy practices the ol' hand on the nose eye poke block.

Seriously, though. Chuck has Randy's number. There's no denying it. The old man can't get inside Chuck's punches quick enough to secure a good clinch. That's the thing about being a master game planner- once you use your trump card you're unlikely to be successful pulling it out again in the future. Hence the 16-8 record.

That's why Fedor will always be a better HW than Couture. He doesn't masterfully game plan, he just takes the opportunities that are presented to him by keeping a clear and open mind during a fight. It's a simple martial arts principle. In the temple of the mind a candle of light is snuffed out. All that remains is the black void of possibility.

Chuck has made comments on moving to heavyweight for a while before randy came back. Check the date on the article http://mmajunkie.com/news/3914/chuck-liddell-willing-to-fight-for-heavyweight-title.mma
