We're no closer to having this fight happen then we were before. Randy will fight his last 3 fights in the UFC, then retire for good. Fedor will dominate Affliction in the mean time and if he ever signs onto the UFC due to Affliction fading away or other some other reason, this fight will be far past the point of relevance.

No way Dana has Fedor come on for one fight. If it happens, and Randy is still the belt holder he will not have an outside guy come in and potentially beat his champ then walk away. It seems Fedor's contract demands are not even close to what the UFC is willing to accept. I'm sure he will want rights to the fight footage, compete in his Sambo in Russia, and who knows what else. Dana is smart though, and know the potential draw this fight could have. It will be interesting to see what the next 6 months looks like with this situation.

If or when affliction goes under Fedor will have no place to fight. Personally I think Affliction was only started because Fedor was free to fight and he needed somewhere to go. If this is gone what does he do. He would have to retire or go to the UFC. Or wait for another hair brained scheme from his management.

Dream or whatever Dream becomes. FEG will always have an mma org and they will always be willing to give Fedor whatever he wants.
