OK the following is just my thoughts on the possible outcomes with Randy returning to the UFC.. Yes many of the ideas have been mentioned so don't be an idiot and make that comment... these are just my thoughts based on what I have seen and what I have read...

It is set. For the HW title Brock and Randy will be facing off... interesting situation over all in the UFC HW division. Randy still holds the title and will be defending it against Brock currently 2-1 in MMA. Meanwhile Big Nog who is the interm champ is faceing Frank Mir after the current season of TUF, Now normally Nog would face the champ in this situation but with filming already going on and the card set Brock is getting a jump to the title shot. Now since Randy signed a 3 fight deal Brock is his first fight... If and I do mean IF he wins he will then face the winner of Mir/ Nog Nog should win that which would make Randy's 2nd fight Nog.. leaving one more... Supposedly that leaves his last fight to be against Fedor if the UFC can work with Affliction to make the fight happen which apperently they are trying to put together.

But what happens if Brock wins, Well he is the new HW champ and will face the winner of Mir/Nog. to unify the title, Now if Mir wins that would give us Mir/Lesnar 2 for the HW title. Leaving Randy to still fight Nog but it makes the set up for Randy Fedor not as appealing.. because of course the UFC would want thier Champ to face Fedor as that would be the biggest draw espically if Randy loses any of the 2 fights prior to that.

Now comparing Randy and Brock is interesting.. Randy is better on the stand up that is practically a given.. But Randy does not have the raw power of Brock and is giving up almost 40 pounds in the fight and Brock I would say is a much better wrestler and even if they were equal Brock is certianly the stronger of the two. Randy has usually had trouble with top wrestlers who are bigger then him and his normal tactics of holding someone against the cage softening them up and taking them down may not work against someone with brocks wrestling background and power. this fight could go badly for Randy espically if Brock is working on his stand up Randy could be in for a long.. or rather short night... Brock is younger I'd say just as fast maybe faster and certianly stronger.. true he is very green in MMA and randy has alot of experience which he can draw on.

Now if Brock wins he faces Mir or Nog.. If he faces Mir, I see Brock ending it the first round I seriously doubt Mir will get lucky and catch another sub. Nog on the other hand would be a different story.. Still top of his game great all around skills and Even Fedor could not put him away though Fedor did dominate him in 2 previous fights. I see a fight with Brock and Nog going to a decision and either Nog winning by majority or Brock in a split.. that or Nog putting away a still relitivly untested jaw of Brock ( Though I am sure Randy will let us know) Now if Nog beats Brock that will set up a chance for Nog to try and redeem himself vs Fedor which I see Fedor winning yet again maybe even finishing Nog this time.

If Brock can somehow run the gauntlent of legends a fight between him and Fedor would be interesting BRock would be a young upstart who has certinaly proved himself beyond a shadow of a doubt as for how he would fare against Fedor I am a little uncertainFedor is like everything Randy aspires to be, strong fast great ground game incredible stand up, KO and submission the complete package BRock is fast and freakishly strong.. If Fedor survives the first 2 minutes which I expect Brock would try to rush and GnP him as ahrd and fast as he could.. Fedor could at that point I think do whatever he wanted to, Fedor just has no holes in his game I have seen. Brock would need a fast KO or to open a cut.. I still see FEdor winning in the End...

Lastly that Leaves Mir. If he can somehow Survive Nog, and then either Randy or Brock setting up a match against FEdor would really be anti-climactic. I see nothing in Franks skill set that would give Fedor any trouble, where Brocks big advantage would be his speed and stregth FRank does not have that over Fedor, Frank has great jujitsu but its not better then Fedors Sambo.... Randy and Nog I think are both better on thier feet, but FEdor has them all beat.. If Mir makes it to the undisputed HW title of the UFC and they put him against FEdor I see fedor winning in under 2 minutes kinda like he just did to Timmy....

Now those are just my thoughts I could be wrong but I see out of the next possible 3 fights with the 3rd being against Fedor (unless somehow someone beats Fedor between now and then which is rather unlikely) I see Fedor winning out more then likely it will be Fedor Vs. Nog.... What are your thoughts?

I pretty much agree with the final outcome. Nog will be the victor if all these fights happen (unless they sign Fedor, in which case Fedor will be the victor)

One thing about Brock vs. Randy is that I think Randy's a smarter and more savvy fighter than HH. He'll know what to do if Brock attempts the top position (wrestling wise) lay and pray. With MMA it's a bit different than wrestling, though. In wrestling you can sit out vs. a guy who is controlling from the back and try to reverse around. Obviously in MMA you don't want to give up the RNC by sitting out, but Randy's smart enough to come up with something.

The more scrambles you put a fighter like Brock through the more tired he's going to get IMO. He showed good cardio in the HH fight but he wasn't forced to fight for scrambles too much. He basically conserved energy. Make him use that huge mass of muscle and burn up that oxygen. Randy's the kind of guy that's got the resources to train with guys Brock's size and he's got the smarts to put two and two together for a good gameplan. People are counting Randy out too early IMO.

I honestly think lesnar is going to DESTROY Randy.

seriously think about it.hes a better wrestler.hes WAY STRONGER.faster.and has the power of 10 donkey kicks in each of his huge ass hands.lesnar is goin to overwhelm couture.there is no way couture is going to muscle or punch out lesnar.even with randys wrestling if lesnar wants him on the ground hes GOING to the ground.no if ands or buts about it.

this isnt a way over hyped gonzaga were talking about here.neither is it a tall sloth like sylvia.this is a beast on a mission who will stop at nothing to destroy randy and prove himself to the mma world.

couture couldnt stand with lesnar.come on now.thats WAY to risky and he knows it.herring did a back roll after he got hit.and mir got his bell rung to.couture to me has nothing in his arsenal that is going to be enough to even come close to beating lesnar.

i also realize wat im saying is really premature.and if couture wins i will personally admit that i was wrong and put as my avatar watever the threadstarter wants it to be

Its nice to see you put your faith in my choice of avatars.. but I myself think Brock is going to come out on top unless he makes a mistake.. This is so far the biggest fight of his short carear so far.. thopugh I do not think he will be over awed which is part of what I think happened in his fight Vs Mir.. if Randy does win, which I am not counting out... he has the experience which can count for alot.. it was Mir's saving grace I think I am not gonna ask you to change anything...
I think it is gonna be Lesnar vs Nog.. Nog winning a tough fight.. if the UFC is smart they will still try to get FEdor... but to fight Nog not Randy...
