MMA Bay is alleging there is an interview Rampage conducted with "cbs.com" where he asserts the police who arrested him in July acted unprofessionally and outside the boundries of proper police conduct:
1. Turned the heat up in the car even though he was already dehydrated 2. Phoning friends and mocking him to them while in the car with him 3. Sped up and slowed down while taking him to the station, tightening his handcuffs 4. Refusing to move his cuffs from the back to the front, leaving him squashed and uncomfortable in the car 5. Tightening his cuffs further as they escorted him into the medical facility, so much so that he lost the feeling in his wrists for three weeks 6. Escorted him through the facility with his pants below his knees, exposing his underwear

Several of those I could see the police doing based on who they are dealing with. Pants around the ankles for control, cuffs behind the back for control. I mean you are talking about the former UFC LHW champ and a big, big man who is in a questionable mental state. How comfortable would you feel with him cuffs in front ready to whoop your ass?
As for the heat being turned up and all of that shit if it's true it is uncalled for.
Really, though... how does he expect this stuff to hold up in a court case when he's pleading not guilty based on temporary insanity?

Yeah, i think page really should stop talking so much until this blows over... He is just making himself look worse and worse with every statement he issues. Let Dana do PR and damage control Rampage, i mean if Dana is in your corner...might as well use him!

the police did that to me when i was arrested "speeding up and stoping to tighten the cuffs and also mocking me or what "i did"(i didnt do it) on the his cell phone to his girlfriend, cops are assholes but there actions afterwards should not matter because the crime he committed was done b4 the cops were "bullying" him

If the cop was on his cell while driving, that's a nice little 250 fine here in Cali. I'd know.

Maybe Rampage should have worn a belt and his pants wouldn't have been around his ankles. However, that appears to be the style now-a-days.

cops are assholes
Well call me "asshole" because I'm a cop and you my friend are a tool.
On the topic....
1. Cuffing behind the back is not only safe but its department policy for most agencies.
2. Secondly...I doubt they were "starting and stopping" just to tighten the cuffs. 99% of handcuffs used by police have what is a called a "double lock" on them. Its a mechanism that is set after the cuffs are adjusted so that they CANNOT tighten anymore. Did they cuff him properly...who knows. His wrists probably did hurt and he probably did lose feeling in his hands but I think he is exagerating it. He is a big guy, and had to be cuffed behind the back it was going to hurt his wrists no matter what.
3 The heater. First off you have to assume that the police knew that he was dehydrated. If they did then yeah...probably should not have had the heater on. We will never know.
4. Pants around ankles......its a standard practice although they make ankle chains for this purpose, maybe they didnt have any.
5 Calling friends.....I more than agree is complete bullshit, your supposed to be proffessional and that means that your work and the people you deal with should be confidential.
All in all if you think it is true, ask yourself this....WHY. They had more than enough evidence to prove that he committed the crime so I doubt they would try to make him uncomfortable in order to get him to talk. They police knew that this was going to be a high profile case, they wouldnt do anything to violate his rights purposly.
Then again I guess all cops or assholes....yeah thats it

I think it was a joke grappler
They took them because they didnt want Rampage having a little craft time and building something to hang himself with.

It may have been, but it's hard to tell sometimes...I don't think many of the people that commented in this thread actually watched his CBS video. The list makes much more sense after the video, not to mention, Rampage did seem honest and sincere while describing the incident.
