this is mma and losing time thinking about who deserves what is just wasting time. the fans (myself included) want to see randy fight fedor, and thats a good enough reason for the fight to take place. there are likely a number of guys that can beat randy at both hw and lhw but that doesnt take away from the fact that this is the most talked about and anticipated fight probably in the history of mma and it hasnt even started being promoted yet. do i think randy has a very good chance of beating fedor? no. that doesnt mean i wont be rooting for him to do just that though. also whoever said that randy has to something and beat so and so to prove he is a legend is crazy. randy is a legend it he never fights again.

this is the ufc second chance i don't see dana's ego screwing this thing up
i doubt it will be in jan or feb if so you know it will be in vegas but fighting in nov for couture and then again or fedor less than 3 months to train i doubt it

Randy is still considered the UFC's currrent HW Champ so if he and Lesnar fight would that not be for the title? I just don't see this fight happening unless Dana wants to punish Randy

No he isn't, Nog is. You can't just take off and not defend your title, then come back a year later and expect it to still be yours.

Actually Randy os the still the HW champion and Nog is the interim champion
