Because if Kimbo gets exposed and loses people will stop believeing he's legit and stop watching. His whole mystique and climbing up the ranks is a big part of the draw and he is EXC's meal ticket on CBS even though I think Gina has more drawing power (but CBS likely thinks the women won't draw as well as the men even though, dare I say it, the women probably would put on better fights).

This suck's. I though the same thing when I read it. That it would be cool to see frank fight him reguardless of weight. But Ken doenst like to get hit in the face to much. He better hope that he can ankle or leg lock him, but then again alot more people know how to defend against it nowadays. I am sure Kimbo will get alot of mat time in practicing for it. Oh well. Let's just get it over with and give Kimbo a belt.

I'll watch this just for the spectacle that its become. I think Shamrock takes it. He'll catch 'em on the ground. It'll be pitiful.

I am actually surprised that so many people aren't giving Kimbo a chance against Rogers.
Anyways, back to the topic, it would funny to see Kenny win this, but I don't think he will. On the bright side for Ken, his face won't look all purple like it did when he fought Tito because I'm pretty sure Kimbo will take him out early with just a few shots.

I'm still on the boat that Kimbo didn't win his last fight he had it given to him. So now everyone that Kimbo has faced or will face have all lost their last 2-4 fights in a row before even facing Kimbo. With not one of them having a win in their past 2 fights before facing Kimbo. If you just add up the last 3 fights they would have a combined record of 2-14 and this is without adding the Kimbo loss in. Whats even worse is if you just added up their last 10 fights Ken has the worst record of them all not to even take in to account that Ken isn't even a true LHW more less a HW. How about having Kimbo face someone that won their last fight. I thought Kimbo was about becoming a better MMA fighter ? Who is his next fight going to be with? Kimbo vs THE PUNCHING BAG.
I truly feel this fight is a insult to fans and the sport of MMA. If your going to market him as the greatest HW and headline him at least have the guy fight someone that has won a fight in the past 2 years. I can understand having the guy fight 1 can just to see where he is at but this will now be 4 in a row.

Just think Kimbo might do something Bas Rutten never did..
Beat Ken Shamrock.
Granted Ken isnt half the fighter he was when he fought Bas...But its still funny.

Will Ken take a short cut like may have happened in his fight with Sakuraba?
Or will he do a face plant like Abbott?
Or will the Stinger propel down from the rafters and the whole thing becomes a free-for-all triple DQ?
