Although he says it's "normal", Kenny Florian says people are still doubting him for whatever reason despite his 5-fight winning streak and likely upcoming UFC Lightweight Title shot.

I gotta be honest, I doubted Kenny before the Din Thomas fight...
But since then, I have a very hard time picking against him as far as fights are concerned. This next fight is no different. I feel that Kenny's number one as far as contenders go right now, and he'll make Stevenson feel it.

he actually does finish fights, saying he doesn't finish because he didn't finish huerta is flat out ignorant.

well the one reason he is doubted because when you are talking about florian facing guys that seem double his size, like joe stevenson, sherk, tyson.

i know....i mean u gotta remember, he couldnt get a hold on huerta at all
but seriosuly, anyone who still doubts kenflo is just stupid...he's gonna be a staple in the UFC LW picture for a while
the only way i see kenflo getting weeded out is if ufc got hansen, alvarez, gomi, aoki, kawajiri, etc.........& he'd still put on great fights even if he had to fight all those guys

I think he needs to get knocked down a few pegs again, still a little arrogant for my taste, especially how he acted when he beat an injured din thomas, he should care less about the public and worry about the fights and training, but he was respectful after he beat huerta so maybe its a more mature florian, best of luck if he gets a shot a BJ because hes gonna need it, i think hes gonna lose if he fights edgar or tyson but i think he could beat joe daddy.

not a big fan but i don't doubt him for a second. i think i have him #4 ranked lw in the world. i do think good wrestlers like guida, griffin, edgar will give him some problems just like sherk did.

I like the way he fights. He game plans his guys and goes out and fights well. I"m not a big fan of the "I'm going to cut my opponent" offense but he used angles REALLY well against Huerta and peppered him with jabs and strikes. I think he's a great fighter and fun to watch but not on a BJ level. There is noshame in that though. I think it's wierd that people only like champs. One of my favorite boxers ever was Arturo Gatti. He wasn't the "best" fighter but he put on a "helluva" show everytime in the ring and that's ultimately what we want right? I mean seriously, the only people that should care about him being the perfect fighter is the chicks he dates.

Kenny is a good and still improving fighter. I still don't like him, but his talent is pretty obvious.
That being said, I I think people might have gotten the wrong impression from the Huerta fight. In my eyes, Kenny really looked like he was trying to emulate Machida's style of fighting. Maybe that's where people got this idea of him not being a finisher. I don't know. For some reason so many MMA fans only look as far back as a fighter's last one or two fights.
I think there are some people in the division that will still give him problems, but he'll be in the top 5 for some time.

Finishes fights and dresses spiffy
I love to take this guy to the bar so the ladies would notice us with our Ninja hats and matching yellow jump suits, then I would pick a fight with the biggest dick in the bar and Zoo... I mean Kenny would step in a finish him for me
I don't doubt this guy he is awsome to watch.... He will hold the title someday
